She was born in Abilene, Texas on September 16, 1943. She married David De Leon on March 25, 1960 in Robstown, Texas.
Josephine had a passion for reading, pressing her luck at the casinos, and TV novelas.
She is survived by 3 daughters Grace De Leon, Debbie Martinez, Norma Jean De Leon, son David De Leon, Jr., 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 1 sisters Zolia Orozco.
She is preceded in death by her husband David De Leon, her brothers Fernando Fernandez, Jessie Fernandez, and Jose Luis Perez, sister Sylvia Rosas, and her parents Narciso and Felicitas Fernandez.
Visitation will be Monday, September 13, 2021, from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at 10:00AM at Resthaven Funeral Home Abbey Chapel.
