He was born to Martin and Dolores Gonzales on April 25, 1975, in Midland, TX.
Jose was a Monterey High School graduate, class of 1993. He held a successful career in sales with AT&T for more than twenty years. He was known for being a devoted husband, loving father, and amazing friend to his loved ones. His friendly smile and welcoming demeanor left an impact on those who knew him most. His hobbies included golf, baseball, coaching his kids’ teams and building things from the ground-up.
Jose married the love of his life Maria Diaz in July of 2006 and were blessed with sixteen years of marriage.
Jose is survived by his loving wife, Maria; sons: Martin, Vicente, Diego and Javier; parents, Martin & Dolores Gonzales; brothers: Tony and wife Christine, Benino and wife Erika, Arturo and wife Sydney; mother-in-law, Nunila; brother-in-law’s Martin and wife Mandy, Valentine and wife Alex; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family invites you to join them as his life is celebrated with a Rosary on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at 6:00pm in Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel. Services will continue on Monday, September 12, 2022 with a 10am funeral mass at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and interment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
