Jerry Todd, Jr., 93, of Lubbock passed away on September 13, 2014.
Jerry was born on May 6, 1921 in Bosque County, Texas to the late Jerry and Levina (Anderson) Todd. He graduated from Fairy High School in 1940. He served his country proudly in the 46th Battalion Navy Seabees. While in the Navy he was awarded 3 bronze stars. After the military he had a successful career as a Boiler Maker/ Combustion Engineer and belonged to local lodge 531. In his retirement he enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Tech. Jerry was also a member of First Church of The Nazarene.
He married the love of his life Jane Wadsworth on September 15, 1945.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Jane Todd; daughter-in-law Thereasa Rodgers Todd; his parents; four brothers; and two sisters.
He is survived by his two children, Jerry Todd, Verma and husband Dan Bellah; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren, two sisters; and numerous nephews, and nieces.
He was very appreciative of the staff and care given to him at Crown Point.
