Oct. 11, 2015 Note to Jerry Todd's family: This is to let you know that Jerry's name was read at the June 21, 2015 meeting of the Fairy Homecoming in Fairy, TX. I'm still amazed that Jerry drove to Fairy and back to Lubbock for last year's Homecoming event. He was a kind and gentle soul and he will be missed. Our condolences and best wishes to Jerry's family.

At age 93, Jerry Todd was still an amazing man. On June 14, 2014 he attended the Fairy School Homecoming which was held at the Fairy Community Center in Fairy, Texas. When Jerry said that he had driven from Lubbock to Fairy on the morning of June 14 and that he would be driving back to  Lubbock that afternoon by himself, I was impressed by his determination to revisit where he had graduated from Fairy High School in 1940. I asked Jerry about his two sisters who had attended Fairy School during the 1940's and he said one sister lived in California on the west coast and the other sister lived near the east coast. 

On behalf of the Fairy Ex-Students Association Board Members, we express our sincere condolences to all the Todd family. Jerry will be greatly missed by the Fairy Ex-Students.

I am so sorry for your loss of Jerry.  My husband was Dr Tom Clemmons and both Jane and Jerry were a pleasure to see whenever they came in the office.  In fact Jerry came to my husbands retirement party and I visited with him extensively then for the last time, he always had such interesting stories... I'm sure he will be missed tremendously!
