James Oliver Lunsford, 84, of Lubbock, TX, passed away August 22, 2015. He was born in Chickasha, OK on August 7, 1931. James graduated from Littlefield H.S. He served in the United States Army as a Tank SGT during the Korean War.
James worked in the Meat cutting department for Piggly Wiggly for 30 years and United Supermarkets for 15 years. He had a passion for old westerns, ice cream, and candy.
James is survived by his sons, Craig Lunsford and Mark Lunsford and wife Michele; grandchildren, Steven Lunsford, Weston Lunsford, Courtney Lunsford, Brittney Lunsford, and Ashley Lunsford; sister, Nadine Testerman and husband Jimmy; and sister-in-law Frankie Lunsford.
