Jackie Anthony McFarland, 66 passed away on Monday, January 13, 2014 at Whiteriver Lake, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 16th at the Resthaven Cemetery in Lubbock, TX under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home. Mr. McFarland was born on December 18, 1947 in Amarillo, TX to Jack and Jean (Jordan) McFarland. He married Judy Hartley on July 23, 1979 in Weatherford, TX. Jackie was an avid outdoors man that loved to fish, bird hunt and spend time with his dogs, Taylor & Lexie. Mr. McFarland was preceded in death by his beloved wife Judy and his father Jack. Jackie is survived by his mother, Jean Mimms of Lubbock; two sons; Todd McFarland and wife Allison of Amarillo, Brandon McFarland and wife Bethany of Lubbock; a sister Jean Ann Neil of Abilene, TX; a grandson Jack McFarland of Amarillo and his in-laws Leonard & Claudette Hartley of Midland, TX.
