A graveside service for Helen Lavon Sallee, 68, of Lubbock, will be held at 10 am on Friday April 23, 2010 at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Helen went home to be with her Lord on Monday, April 19, 2010 at VistaCare. Helen was born in Lawton, Oklahoma, on September 7, 1941 to Elmer and Mary Lee Olds. She has been in Lubbock, Texas for 23 years where she has been the co-owner of Royal Coach Towne Car Services. She was married to Leonard Sallee for 35 years and had three daughters: Deanna Moran of Lubbock, Texas; Melissa Watkins of Lubbock, Texas; Denise Gray of Newton Alabama. Although she was considered nanny to many, those left to cherish her memories are also 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She also left behind three sisters: Mrs. Mary Anderson of Hartford, Alabama; Mrs. Lola Berger of Litchfield, Arizona; Mrs. Kathy Anderson of Midland City, Alabama and two brothers: Mr. Lonnie Olds of Bee Branch, Arkansas; Mr. James David Olds of Apache Junction, Arizona.
