Harold Jason Wright

Harold was preceded in death by his father, Fred Ernest Wright and mother, “Pearl” Clara Harland Wright.

He is survived by his wife, Denise Wright, three daughters; Shawna Locke (Jerald Locke), Rachel Harris (Corey Harris), and Jennifer Neal (Ryan Neal). Harold has seven grandchildren; Luke Thomas Neal, Clara Neal, Sophia Neal, Susanna Neal, Selah Harris, Asher Harris, and Landon Locke. Patsy Reischman and Dennis Wright are his surviving siblings.

Harold attended Texas Tech University and served in the U.S. Army as a Financial Specialist from 1969 to 1971. He was employed by Lubbock Manufacturing for 10 years and was in the oil and drilling industry with his father. From 1989 - 2009 he served as Plant Manager at ITT Gould’s Pumps. Harold’s passions in life were family, work, creating in his workshop, goose control, and cookies. A man of great intelligence and pride, he will be missed.

The family will receive friends at Resthaven Funeral Home on Sunday, from 5 -7 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday January 3, 2011 at People’s Fellowship, 4308 58th. Burial will follow at Resthaven.

The family suggests memorials to The Lubbock Boys & Girls Club or your favorite charity.
