Gloria Jean Torres, 73 of Lubbock, passed away on January 25, 2019. She was born on September 29, 1945 in Waco, Texas to the late Felipe and Julia Juarez. She was one of 11 children.

She married the love of her life, Evaristo C. Torres, on October 9, 1965, and during this union they were blessed with three sons, Guillermo, Robert and Tommy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers, Domingo and Guillermo Juarez.

She is survived by her sons, Guillermo (Diana), Robert (Jessica) and Tommy Torres; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers and 5 sisters.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 30th from 5-8 pm with a Rosary to begin at 7pm at Resthaven Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 10 am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Peter D’Souza officiating. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
