Gloria Ann Hitt Ross

Visitation for Gloria Ann Hitt Ross of Wolfforth, Texas will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 9, 2015 at Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2015 in the Abbey Chapel of Resthaven Funeral Home with Darrel McMillan officiating; interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Bobby Byrd, Jack Carlile, Rick De La Garza, David Gandy, Steve Hudson, and Dickie Turner.

Gloria was born November 21, 1937 in Lubbock County to Raymond and Pauline Hitt and was raised in Wolfforth, Texas. She graduated from Frenship High School in 1956. She married Allen Ross on February 16, 1963. She worked with her husband in the cotton industry for over 20 years, and retired from Frank Brown Auto.

Survivors include two sons, Ken of Lubbock who is married to Renee and has one son Bryan, and two daughters, Kennedi and Karah. Bobby of Plainview who is married to Shonda and has two daughters, Shayla and Alyssa. One great-grandchild, Tyan. Nephew Keith Hitt who is married to Carol and has one daughter, Morgan Crump and two sons, Aaron and Christian Hitt. She was preceded in death by her husband Allen Ross. Her father Raymond Hitt, her mother Pauline Turner Hitt, and one brother Raymond Hitt Jr. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials to Hospice of Lubbock.
