Services for Glenda J Williams, 71, of Lubbock, will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 17, 2010, in Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel. Burial will follow in the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Resthaven. Glenda passed away on Tuesday, July 13th.
She was born on January 10, 1939, in Brownfield, to Jesse and Ello Rea Jones Strong. She married Eligah Williams, Jr. on October 11, 1975 in Lubbock. She was a homemaker and caregiver. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, four children and six step-children; two brothers, and one sister; 22 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, from 6-8 p.m,
