So let’s just say, a legend has passed away. For those of you who were acquaintances, you remember his wit and grit. For those of you that are his family and friends, you know his love and insight, deep conviction for right and wrong and his compassion for the truth.
Gerald’s homebuilding and commercial real estate career spanned five decades and he was held in great esteem in his profession. Long distance running, music, reading and sailing gave ism much joy over the years. To quote one of his favorite singers- Neil Diamond- “This life is here and it’s made for livin’ and love’s a gift that’s made for givin’”
May everyone that was fortunate to cross his path spread his wisdom and humor to those around you. He was all about a good joke.
Gerald is survived by Lisa K. Alexander his partner in crime of the past 30 years who is his love and rock, his children Tim Long (Karla) and Gena Freymann (Carlos), 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
