Epifanio Mojica, 87, of Lubbock, TX passed away September 29, 2014 in Arlington, TX. A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with the reciting of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Resthaven Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 3, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with interment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Epifanio was born in Lockhart to Macedonio and Anastacia (Tenorio) Mojica on January 21, 1927. He married the love of his life Louisa Martinez on September 15, 1949. He was drafted to the United States Army on April 19, 1945. Epifanio is preceded in death by his son Ramon Mojica and 3 grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Louisa Mojica; children, Marcelina Gallegos, Maria Fabila, Epifanio Mojica Jr., Manuel Mojica, Frances Martinez, Luisa Mojica, Ester Torres, Yolanda Mojica, Ofelia Mojica, Estela Mojica, Andrew Mojica; 38 grandchildren; 70 great grandchildren; and 16 great-great grandchildren.
