Ella Mae Sanders, 98, of Lubbock, Texas, passed away on July 27, 2023.
She was born and graduated from Kerens, Texas. Ella married Obiet Nathan and had two daughters together. Ella worked as a teacher's assistant in the Lubbock School District and retired from Texas Instruments.
Ella was a Manhattan Heights Church of Christ member. She was passionate about travel and sewing, but her true love was spending time with her beloved family laughing, cooking, and playing games.
She is survived by her daughters Shirley and Jeanette Nathan of Lubbock, Texas, along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
The family invites guests to celebrate Ella's life on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at 1:00 pm in the Texas Tech Mausoleum at Resthaven Memorial Park.
