Celebration of life services for El Wanda Moore, 59, of Lubbock will be held at 1 pm, Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Resthaven Memorial Park’s Mausoleum Chapel with Chaplin Randall Hamilton officiating. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm, Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Resthaven Funeral Home.
El Wanda passed from this life Sunday, February 20, 2011.
She was born March 9, 1951 in Belton, Texas to the late Billy and Betty (Cabaniss) Elkins. El Wanda graduated from Lubbock High school in 1970. She married Dan Moore, Jr. April 22, 1973 in Lubbock, Texas.
El Wanda was a wonderful and loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Dan Moore, Jr., daughter: Marsha White and husband, Roderick and her number one grandson; Jonathan Moore.
