Earl Walker

Funeral services will be held at 10am on Saturday, April 30, 2011, at Resthaven Funeral Home’s Abbey Chapel with Carl Shroyer officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Earl was born on May 7, 1927, in Lynn County, Texas, to the late John William and LuLu Florence (Frentress) Walker.

He was preceded in death by: first wife, Camilia Lou Walker; six siblings: Gloria June Jett, Merle Baker, Bill Norman Walker, Charlie Paul Walker, Charlsie Pauline Walker, and Glenn Walker; and a stepson, Jerry Dwayne Derrick.

Those left to cherish Earl’s memories include his wife, Rosa Lee Walker of Lubbock; five children: Patricia Pauline McKay of Port Richey, Florida, Nancy Lanette Bernard of Lubbock, Sandra Suzanne Crouch of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Earl Duayne Walker of Spring, and Kelsey Reanda Cupples of Jupiter, Florida; 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; three stepchildren: Marilyn Charlene Daniel of New Braunfels, Linda Dianne Keith of Odessa, and Gaylan Kay Roberson of Nolanville; seven step-grandchildren; 12 step-great grandchildren; and four siblings: Margaret Adams of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Hazel Brown of Garland, John Dorman Walker of Casper, Wyoming, and Marion Jane (Lassie) Malone of Lubbock.
