David graduated from Monterey High School. He was married to Janet Tinsley Gentry on September 8, 1972. David had a career in Industrial Sales for Clowe & Cowan, Bailey Boiler and Selle Supply.
He was a past member of Lubbock Gem & Mineral Society, Boy Scouts of America (Eagle Scout), and had a passion for books, jewelry making and camping.
He is survived by his wife Janet Gentry, and a daughter Vicki Jo Gentry. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2020 from 1:00PM – 4:00PM.
