Cindy Vee Dendy

She was born in Lubbock, TX, on August 16th, 1946, to Medfred and Helen Weaver.

Cindy graduated from Lubbock Cooper High School when it was a small rural school and later attended Abilene Christian College, Lubbock Christian College, and Texas Tech University.

She was married to Stiles Dendy on July 30th, 1966, and they were married for 55 years.

After the birth of her sons, Dan and Doug, her sole occupation was taking care of them. Being a Mom brought her boundless joy and gave her life meaning. She was a faithful attendee of the Church of Christ where ever she lived. Cindy studied the Bible with fervor and was in constant pursuit of God. Her faith was lived out by always greeting people with a smile and a compliment.

She is survived by her husband, Stiles, her sons Dan and Doug; grandchildren Drew, Clara Vee, and Mara, and brothers Fred and Alex Weaver, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

The visitation will be on Wednesday, November 10th, from 5-7 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 10 AM on Thursday, November 11th, at Resthaven Funeral Home in Lubbock.
