Carl David Curtis, 73, passed away Sunday December 22, 2013 in Lubbock. He was born August 29, 1940 in Weed, New Mexico to Carl Lee and Clara Belle Curtis. Carl served his country in the US Army. He married Mary Hatch on October 17, 1959 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. He loved to tinker in his workshop and was a great husband and father.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; son, Dale Curtis and wife Tena; daughter, Cindy Salmon and husband Tommy; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, Alton Massey and a sister Joan Nutter.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 26, 2013prior to the funeral service at 1:00pm, in Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
