Calvin C. Fortenberry, age 89, of Lubbock, died Wednesday, August 26, 2015. He was born March 08, 1926 in Clint, Texas, to the late Thomas and Luttie Fortenberry. He proudly served in the United States Army overseas.
He married the love of his life, Vivien, on December 15, 1949, in Lubbock, Texas; where they raised their family.
He was a lifelong carpenter; working as the superintendent for W.G. McMillan builders, placing his personal touch on various construction projects in Lubbock, and surrounding areas.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Vivien; sons, Olen, Calvin, Jr.; grandson, Colton; brother, James and many close friends he considered family.
