Caleb was a graduate of Monterey High School, where he earned his letter in Track & Field and attended South Plains College and Texas Tech. Caleb was a staff reporter for the Plainsman Press while at SPC. He had recently been hired by Lubbock ISD and was going to work at Lowrey Field as an event staff.
Caleb enjoyed photography and was a great debater, often debating any topic with his family and friends for hours. Those who knew Caleb, knew that he never let his disabilities keep him from accomplishing anything he set his heart and mind to do.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jose T. Soto and Carmen C. Soto; and his paternal grandfather, Mack Brown.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Vivian Brown; his father, Tommy Brown; three brothers: Tim Brown (Clarissa), Everett Brown (Anissa), and Josiah Spence; his paternal grandmother, Willie Brown; nephew, Noahh and niece, Luna; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, December 22, 2019 at Resthaven Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 23, 2019 at One Accord Fellowship, 6002 Avenue U, Lubbock, Texas 79412. Interment will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park in Woodrow, TX. Please visit www.resthavenfuneralhome.com for online tributes.
