Bob graduated from Slaton High School. He married the love of his life Betty Gray on December 17, 1949. Bob worked in transportation for Time DC and Watkins Motor Lines, he was an avid golfer, enjoyed fishing and most of all loved his family.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years Betty; one son, Bobby Lemon Jr. and his wife Donna; one daughter, Susan Schoppa and her husband Rodney; 5 granddaughters, Amy Dini, Ellen Lemon, Jennifer Castleberry, Bonnie LeVecchio, and Lindsay Schoppa; 1 grandson, Matt Irie; 5 great granddaughters, Taylor Dini, Emily Dini, Jessica Castleberry, Isabella Haughey and Berit Irie; 3 great grandsons, Zachary Dini, Samuel Dini, and Elliot Haughey; two sisters, Carol Scroggins and Nelda Norris; and two brothers, Jerry Lemon and Larry Lemon.
