He died at the age of 90 on September 2, 2019 in Lubbock, Texas.
He served in the U.S. Army (1950-1952) during the Korean War, in Company C of the 412th Engineering Construction Battalion (5th Army; later 6th Army).
He married Alda May Smith in Raton, New Mexico, on November 26, 1952.
He retired from the Lubbock Coca Cola Company in 1994 after 35 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Coy Lee, Melvin, and Orvel; and his sisters, Katie, Gracie, Doris, and Imogene.
He is survived by his wife, daughter Lynne Marie Ingram Strickland; son Wesley Warren Ingram; daughter Emily Elaine Ingram Wolfgeher and her husband Paul; grandchildren Laurel Strickland, Lisa Strickland Ashjian and her husband Bill, Lezlie Strickland, Brian Wolfgeher, and Kevin Wolfgeher, great grandsons John Michael Ashjian and Joshua William Ashjian; brother Delton Ingram, sister Johnnie Corley, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
