Services for Betty Medlock, 83, of Lubbock, will be at 2 PM on Monday, December 19, 2011, in Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel. Interment will follow at Resthaven. Mrs. Medlock passed away on Wednesday, December 14th.
Betty was born on July 28, 1928 in Carter County, Oklahoma to B C and Rosa Lowery. She married Billy Medlock in June 1963. He preceded her in death in 1992. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church.
She loved her family very much and will be best remembered for feeding her birds.
She was preceded in death by one sister and 3 brothers.
Survivors include three daughters, Jan and Peter Pell and Kim and Bill Hurt, all of Lubbock, Terri and Kenneth Schneer of Dallas; a step son, Mike Medlock of Burleson; a sister, Jo Baxley of Lubbock; a half brother, David Lee Lowery of California; 4 grandchildren, Matthew, Rene, Michael, and Tyler; and 3 great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the donor’s favorite charity.
