In 2004, she finally retired, but not entirely. She continued to work for CD&M part time until 2022. She worked for Richard Palmer, Attorney at Law, during her retirement to help him close out cases so he could retire. During her life, she was blessed with a group of girl friends from high school that called themselves the “Yaya’s”.
