Bernice Watson

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at 10:00 AM in Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 from 7-9 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home.

Bernice loved spending time with her family. She really enjoyed spending time with the grandchildren and great grand-children. She was a member of the First Baptist church of Idalou.

She is survived by her children, Lyndol Watson and his wife Carla of San Antonio, John Watson of Idalou, Randy Watson and his wife Connie of Wolfforth, Danny Watson and his wife Renee of Lubbock, Billy Watson of Idalou, Jeff Watson of Lubbock and Terri Boggs and her husband Shane of Idalou, her grandchildren Wendye Watson of Kerrville, Amy Watson of San Antonio, Courtney Ramage and her husband Bobby from Shallowater, Kristi Scoggin and her husband Peter from Lubbock, Mi-chael Boggs of Midland, Josh Watson of Wolfforth, April Bearden of Idalou, Kayla Watson of Lubbock, and Kara Boggs of Idalou, great grand-children; Emily, Sawyer, Brayden and Jentry; one sister Willie Childers of Irving and a long time family friend and caregiver, Lilia Reyes.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Watson, five brothers and four sisters.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
