Barbara Lane, 86, long time resident of Lubbock, TX, was called home by her Lord Jesus Christ on June 22, 2015 after a lengthy illness.
She was born May 3, 1929 to George and Carmen Thomas in Colorado City, TX. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Barbara’s love for her children and family were the most important things in her life. She never met a stranger and was a friend to many. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 31 years, Royce Lane; sister, Elizabeth Harrod; and a grandson.
She is survived by her children, Vern Hudnall and wife Darlena, Fran Shaw and husband Mack, and Laura Goodwyn and husband Monty. She is also survived by brothers, Ralph Thomas, Richard Thomas, and George Thomas, 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
