Annie Mae Wilson

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 7, 2017 in the Abbey Chapel at Resthaven Funeral Home, Pastor Mike Gee, officiant and G.L. Hight will be assisting. Visitation will be held at 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Resthaven Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.

Ann was born in Houston County, Weches, Texas on June 27, 1938. She graduated from Brownfield High School.

Ann married Lloyd B. Wilson on June 3, 1958 in Brownfield, Texas. They were married 59 years.

Ann was retired, but worked as a manager for the Swiss Pretzel shop in the south plains mall for 27 years. She enjoyed redbirds, hummingbirds, and her collection of dishes, linens, and paintings.

Ann is survived by her husband, Lloyd; her son, Michael and wife Penny; twin granddaughters, Stephanie and Bethany; grandson, Christopher Wilson; brother, Vernon Click and wife Sue; sisters, La Von Mariott and husband Royce, Nellie Dover and husband Joel; brother, Elvin Peacock and wife Rose; numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Ann was preceded in death by her son, Mark Wilson; parents, Monroe and Verliah Peacock; sister, Mildred and husband Burdine Looney; brothers, Doyle and wife Jo Ann Click, and Hugh Estes Click.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Cross Plains Fire Dept., Cross Plains Senior Citizen Center or Wesley Foundation Lubbock, Texas.
