Alicia was born in Big Spring, Texas to Refugia “Cuca” Perez and Desidario Ramirez on November 12th, 1939.
She married Jacky V. Flemins on January 17th, 1974. He preceded her in death on March 26th, 1990. Also preceding her in death are her two daughters, Josephine and Patricia Casarez.
She is survived by 5 daughters, Rosalinda Factor (Dean Burfield) of Lubbock, Christina Garza of Dallas, Patricia Mayers of Wolfforth, Cecilia Ramos (Frank) of Lubbock and Wendy Ortega (Jesse) of Katy, two sons, Tommy Casarez and Michael Casarez, both of Dallas, 32 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Her personal passions were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her most favorite thing in the world was being a mom and grandma. Alicia was a Marketing Manager for K-Mart Corporation for 20 years.
We have much gratitude to the A-Med Hospice Nurses for taking such good care of mom, especially Crisis Nurse Douglas for caring for us as well. We also give much thanks and love to her granddaughter, April Johnson for taking such great care of mom for the last two weeks of her life. She made mom so happy.
