Dean Eldon Ambrose

Dean passed away at his Spring Valley home on March 8, 2013 after a bout with Cancer. He was born January 7, 1926 in Crescent City, California. After graduating college, spent five years in the US Navy retiring as First Lieutenant Communication Officer. After his stint in the Navy, he lived and worked on his ranch near Plains, Montana. In 1963 he moved to Santa Rosa, CA and married his high school sweetheart, Theora Lake. He began his surveying career employed by Herb Passarino Surveying, retiring after 35 years of service. Dean was a quiet, kind gentleman well liked and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

He leaves behind his loving wife Theora of nearly 50 years; daughter: Sherri Munson; son: David Setser and wife Barbara; four granddaughters: Andrea Foster, Amanda Turner, Sherri Lane and Terri Dickson, and six great-grandchildren.
