Wayne David Gilbert, aged 61, passed away on September 30th, 2024. Born on January 20th, 1963, Wayne dedicated his life to building custom homes in the serene beauty of Colorado mountain communities. His craftsmanship and love for the outdoors were reflected in the homes he created, each one a testament to his skill and appreciation for nature.
A passionate outdoorsman, Wayne found peace and joy in the nature. Some of his happiest moments were spent fishing, hunting, and exploring the state's scenic landscapes, often riding his beloved Indian motorcycle across the countryside. His love for adventure and the natural world was infectious to all who knew him.
Wayne is survived by his father, Wayne Gilbert Sr., sisters, Kathleen Sylvia and Michelle Williams, nephews Brandon Peet, Jesse Williams and Samuel Williams, aunts, Anne Shatting, Colleen Csengery, three cousins and a great nephew.
His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and in the countless homes and landscapes that he touched with his hands and heart.
