11/14/1948-12/29/2022
Scott was born November 14, 1948, in Chicago, Illinois, to Darlene and Bill Bray, and moved to Loveland in 1950, where Scott lived his entire life. Scott graduated from Loveland High School in 1966 and attended the University of Colorado in Boulder and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business.
Scott entered the real estate business with his father and had a lifelong career as a broker, developer, and home builder. He and his firm, Glen Companies, contributed greatly to the growth of Loveland by building homes and communities and changed the landscape of Loveland forever. This support of the community and the growth of the city will forever be a part of his legacy
Scott loved road trips, motorcycle rides, cycling, camping, and sports of all kinds. Many of Scott’s days were filled with grandpa duties of cheering on his grandkids at hockey, gymnastics, and volleyball games. He was always chasing his next adventure. As an avid traveler he was fortunate to be able to see the world with his friends and family. He had a passion for life, his family, and Colorado.
Scott is survived by his wife, Maureen, their two daughters, Susan Yelle (Stephane), Jill Lacroix (Eric) and Scott and Maureen’s five grandchildren, Sienna, Emme, Max, Mia, and Ty. He is also survived by his loving sister, Ronnie, husband Tom, and Scott’s nephew, Tyler Bray.
Supporting youth hockey was one of Scott’s passions. If you wish, you may donate in Scott’s memory to The Lacroix Hockey Foundation at 6901 S. Peoria St., Centennial, CO 80112.
A memorial celebration for Scott will be held Friday, January 13, 2023 at 10:00 AM at First Christian Church, 2000 North Lincoln Ave., Loveland, Colorado 80538.
