Ryan grew up outside of Chicago as a caring, compassionate and creative young man that loved life. He was always up to something and his creativity brought many laughs from his fun personality. He has a Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University, and graduated from Lake Zurich High School in Lake Zurich, IL. While in college Ryan's love of music led him to form an acapella group for the university. He had many friend groups, with many interests, and was always up for a new challenging activity, or spending time with friends and family.
His career led him to work for the State of Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. He focused on accessibility marketing, and made a big impact there in a short time. Prior to this, he worked for Amazon in Public Relations.
Ryan's love of music spun in several different areas, not only did he have a beautiful singing voice and could play any instrument, there was a passion for sharing his music with others. He composed Electronic Dance Music (EDM) and frequently shared his talent around the Denver area, in EDM shows and private parties. He loved his life partner, Courtney, his animals, art, playing pranks, and lived life to the fullest, despite his short time on earth.
Those left to cherish his memory include his parents; brothers, Alex and Christopher; significant other, Courtney Johnson; and his beloved cats, Loki, Ted Meowsby, and MewTwo. He was a huge personality, and his presence will be missed by the many who had the pleasure to know him, and we know his spirit lives on in everyone he touched.
