Robert John Trumbo of Loveland, 42, passed away Monday, August 12, 2019. Born in Coldwater, MI, Rob was the son of Susan D. Trumbo and the late Terry R. Trumbo. Rob was a graduate of Loveland High School and went on to graduate from Western Culinary Institute in Portland, OR. Rob was a classically trained chef who worked in Colorado, Hawaii, California, and Wyoming. Later in life, Rob left the restaurant industry and transitioned to a career as a commercial electrician.
Rob is survived by his mother, Susan Trumbo of Loveland, CO, his three siblings, Aaron (Jennifer) Trumbo of Longmont, CO, Bethany (Drew) Sartell of Louisville, CO, and Nicholas (Shaina) Trumbo of Loveland, CO, as well as two nieces and a nephew. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. Rob loved snowboarding, sailing, and the company of a golden retriever named Sadie, who loved him back. He will be missed.
Private memorial services will be held to remember Rob.
