Growing up in Joliet, IL, Pete graduated from Joliet Township High School in 1963. He pursued a career as an electrician in both Illinois and Colorado for 35 years. Like his wife Judy, Pete lived for his beloved family. As the hardest working man in the room, he took pride in his allegiance to every task at hand. He enjoyed fishing the Boundary Waters of Minnesota, traveling with his family and the Colorado wilderness.
He is survived by his children, Justin (Keri) of CO, Adam (Katie) of CO, Carter of AZ, and Amber of CO; grandchildren, Joshua Myers of CO, Jordan Myers of CO, Jakob Hobert of CO, Michael Hobert of CO, Corbin Hobert of CO, and William Hobert of AZ; three great-grandchildren; sister Beverly Martin of Erie, CO and sister Mary Lou Dunbar of Castle Rock, CO. In addition to his parents Robert Hobert and Louise Hobert, he was preceded in death by his wife Judy Hobert, daughter Noel Myers, daughter-in-law Virginia Hobert (Carter), brother Edward Hobert, brother Richard Hobert and brother-in-law Ronald Martin.
Services will be August 27, 2024 at St. John Baptist Catholic Church.
Rosary @ 11:00AM with the Mass @11:30.
