Norman graduated from Englewood High School, proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard in WW II, and assisted his parents on their farm in Missouri.
Later he married his wife Deverne on July 24, 1965. Norman attended and graduated from Northwest Missouri State with a degree in education. He combined his love of teaching with his artistic skills and became an art teacher.
Upon retirement, he moved to Red Feather Lakes, Colo. He was an active member of the RFL Lion’s Club and helped maintain the RFL town water pump. Norman was also a member of the Chapel in the Pines Church and the Windsor Methodist Church.
Norman was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Deverne, and his sister Joyce Isacson. He is survived by his son Steve and his daughters Vicky and Vonny, sister Phyllis Robertson, brother Gary Rowland (Betty), and grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
