Mary Jeannine Williams, 82, passed away peacefully March 8, 2022, in Loveland, Colorado. Jeannine was born in Beatrice, Nebraska, on April 12, 1939, to Lamar and Ruby (McCashland) Robinson. Jeannine graduated from Beatrice High School in 1957.
Jeannine married Larry E. Williams on October 11, 1958, in Beatrice, Nebraska. Their two sons were born in Beatrice, where they resided until Larry joined the Nebraska State Patrol in June of 1966. During these early years, Jeannine was primarily a stay at home mother. The family then moved to Larry’s first duty station, Columbus, Nebraska, where they remained until Larry was promoted in 1979, with the family moving to Grand Island, Nebraska. During the years in Columbus, Jeannine worked as an administrative assistant for several different businesses until being employed as an administrative assistant at Production Credit Association in Columbus. Jeannine remained in the farm credit system until becoming a legal secretary with the Kenneth Elson Law Practice in Grand Island.
Jeannine and Larry retired to Estes Park, Colorado, where they had vacationed for many years. During the summer of 1995, their sons, Scott and Lynn, built them a retirement home in the Big Thompson Canyon, below Estes Park.
Jeannine had a lifelong passion for interior decorating that began at a young age. She enjoyed being in her father’s shadow in building construction that carried throughout her lifetime. With each home remodeled, or newly built and ultimately decorated, she always had a flair for style. She also enjoyed sewing, crafts, music, and ballroom dancing.
Survivors include her two sons, Lynn, and his wife Susan (Lloyd) Williams, of Loveland, Colorado; son Scott, and his wife Lisa (Hilligas) Williams, of Omaha, Nebraska; grandchildren Shane, Taylor, Cara Williams, and Mallory (Williams) Limberg and husband Mike Limberg. Jeannine was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
There will be a celebration of life memorial service scheduled for Saturday, March 12, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at Allnutt Funeral Service – Hunter Chapel in Loveland, Colorado.
