Uncle Mark,
We are so very sad that you are no longer here with us and that we will no longer get to hear your lovely American accent.
You had a great sense of humour and your kind face lit up the room. We're grateful for all the fond and happy memories of our kind-hearted, American model uncle!
Our hearts especially go out to Nanny, Daddy (Richard), Ashley & family.

It is with great sadness that the siblings and mother of Mark announces his passing. He left this world peacefully and will always be remembered in our hearts and prayers by his mother and all his siblings. Gloria {Mother} and brothers. My uncle Mark was more like a big brother instead of an Uncle, I will miss him greatly. He was an amazing guy and a role model in my life. My heart goes out to Ashley and family who were with him in last hours. JT and Luke I can’t imagine what’s it must be like to witnesses the tragedy, you all did the best you could have done. My Nan’s heart is broken and there is nothing I can do to make it better. The world has a void which can only be filled with the memories and love we have for Mark. One of many memories was when my dad went on a mountain hike with his granddaughters, Alivia and Addy in Colorado this passed summer. We found a beautiful hidden, small waterfall, and a pool of crystal clear water at the bottom of the fall.  Alivia climbed atop a giant boulder where her sunglasses fell off and went into the water pool. Then grandpa came to the rescue for her sunglasses, and while retrieving hers, his then fell to the bottom of the pool too. In the end, grandpa was the hero and saved both pairs of sunglasses.  Alivia and grandpa declared that this was their secret spot forever and they made plans to visit it together again and again in the future. 

So sorry to hear of the passing of Uncle Mark, my thoughts are with our Nanny Gloria, my father (Richard) and Mark’s daughter Ashley and her family. Sending lots of love your way x
