Marilyn was born in Auburn, NY December 29, 1940 to Marian and Ernest Bryant. Marilyn was the 4th of their 6 children.
Marilyn met Roger Pringle at a high school basketball game in Churchville, NY. They were married May 18, 1963 and welcomed their first child, Daniel on May 2, 1964. Marilyn and Roger were hit with tragedy on Father’s Day in 1964 when Roger broke his neck in a swimming accident. They faced many challenges as a young couple but overcame them with their love and support from family and friends. The Pringles were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Deanna on August 21, 1968.
Roger and Marilyn moved from Bergen, NY to Loveland, CO in March of 1973 as Roger was transferred to Eastman Kodak Company in Windsor, CO. Loveland, CO would become their permanent home.
Marilyn worked for several years in the Thompson R2-J school system as an office assistant. She also worked in multiple doctor’s offices as an office assistant after getting her CNA license. She was very proud of this accomplishment. Marilyn also managed a child day-care service in her home for several years and served as a volunteer coordinator for Meals-On-Wheels for over a decade before she finally retired.
Marilyn had many interests and hobbies including line-dancing with friends, listening to Elvis music, shopping, crocheting, and talking. If you knew Marilyn, you knew she was a talker. She also loved to laugh and was up for anything fun that she hadn’t tried before. Marilyn had a wonderful, contagious laugh that friends and family alike cherished. She loved her numerous friends dearly and always enjoyed spending time with them. Marilyn’s sister in-laws in New York were her second family and she could never wait to visit with them, recalling past memories and making new ones.
Marilyn loved nothing more than spending time with her family. She is survived by son Daniel Pringle and wife Janet, daughter Deanna (Dee) Cordova and husband Anthony, grandchildren Samantha Fonda and husband Dave, Jessica Nail, and Adam Nail, great grandchildren Adalynn Swingle, Emma Fonda, Riley Fonda, and Margaret Fonda, her New York family, and her beloved dog, Mojo.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband Roger in 2013.
