Larry was called home on Wednesday, September 8, 2021.
Larry passed away in his home after enjoying a full evening of laughter and games with friends and family.
Larry was born in Guymon Oklahoma to Leroy and Julia May Manhart in 1951. He grew up with his brother Jimmy Manhart and sister Judy Randa.
The family moved to Brighton Colorado when he was still a young boy. This is where he went to school and started many of his lifelong friendships. He graduated from Brighton High School, from there he went on to do some continued education at CSU.
He decided fairly early on that teaching in a classroom was not his path. For a time he worked several jobs, before moving into his lifelong career of sales and entrepreneurship. It was at the Keebler Cookie Company that he and our mother met. It did not take him long to realize that he would spend his life with her. Jeannette and Larry were married March 29, 1972 They have two children. Monik and Jay-Paul.
Larry loved people! He believed in them, even when they did not always believe in themselves. He was always there to help. He was known for his hugs.
Larry is preceded in death by his mother Julia May, father Leroy, and his sister Judy.
Larry is survived by his wife Jeannette, daughter Monik Clarke, son Jay-Paul Manhart, granddaughters Remi Clarke and Kizzy Manhart, grandson Deacon and his brother Jim Manhart.
God took the strength of a mountain, the majesty of a tree.
The warmth of a summer sun, the calm of a quiet sea.
The generous soul of nature, the comforting arm at night.
The wisdom of the ages, the power of the eagle's flight.
Then, God combined these qualities, there was nothing more to add.
His masterpiece was now complete, He lovingly called it "Dad".
We love you dearly
He will be sadly missed and forever remembered by all who know and love him.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.allnuttloveland.com for the Manhart family.
