In his ministerial career, he served at Lebanon Christian Reformed Church (CRC) in Sioux Center, IA, Alamosa CRC in Alamosa, CO, and Lynwood CRC in Lynwood, IL. After his ministerial work, he moved back to Colorado to pursue his love of the mountains and outdoors.
He is survived by his wife and partner of 47 years, Debra (Thuesen) Eiten, formerly of Dike, IA; children, James Eiten (Perri Corvino), William Eiten, Erica Norris (Randy Norris); granddaughter, Olivia Corvino Eiten (James Eiten); mother, Ella Eiten; and sister, Mary Cooper (Jim Cooper). He is preceded in death by his father, Harvey Eiten.
