Kelly Beth Billings was born on July 23, 1963, in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She attended college at the University of Arkansas, where she completed her undergraduate degree and was a member of the Phi Mu Sorority. She went on to the University of Tennessee completing her degree as a Doctor of Dental Surgery. After completing a general practice residency in Honolulu, Hawaii, Kelly began her career in the military, serving in the US Army Dental Corps, stationed in Germany. She was honorably discharged as a Major and returned to the states to pursue her master’s in Endodontic Care from the University of Minnesota. She then settled in Northern Colorado to continue her career in private practice.
Dr. Taylor was well respected in the dental community during her years as owner/partner of the Center for Endodontic Care. She was known for treating her patients with the utmost care, kindness, and compassion.
Kelly’s sons, Ryan and Riley are her greatest legacy. Her love, admiration, and pride for the wonderful men they have become was her crowning achievement.
Kelly loved sports, outdoor activity, and travel. She was an avid tennis player and enjoyed hiking, paddle boarding, and waterskiing. Her passion for horses led her to care for the Taylor draft horse team and driving in Ladies draft horse cart competitions. She also cherished her time at the barn with her loyal canine companions, Rocky and Harley. In her down time, she and her husband Jack clocked many miles traveling on their motorcycle, cruising the mountains she so loved.
Her loving nature, kind heart, and grace will be missed on this earth. She will always be remembered as an exceptional mother, adored wife, cherished daughter, and loyal friend.
Kelly is survived by her husband, Jack Taylor, sons Ryan Jones and Riley Jones, Mother Virginia Dee Dorton, stepsons Matt (Karisa) Taylor, Josh Taylor, and step granddaughters Lexi and Livi. She also leaves behind nephew William Connor Wilson and aunts Judith Pool and Patricia Whitaker. She is preceded in death by her father James (Pam) Billings and sister Virginia Lynn Billings.
