James Allen Zalesky

James A. Zalesky was born in Denver on July 16, 1948 to John and Magdalene Zalesky. He married Karen J. Peene on September 28, 1968 at the United Methodist Church in Longmont, CO. They were blessed with two children and four grandchildren.

James worked in the computer industry for several years prior to becoming a successful small business owner. He fully retired in 2008 and spent his time remodeling their homes, restoring a 1953 Chevy truck, and was deeply devoted to his family. James was a gifted artist and enjoyed wood carving.

James and Karen were married for over 55 years. He was preceded in death by his daughter Melissa K. Butler in 2005 and is survived by his wife Karen and daughter Jennifer A. Cook; grandchildren Hannah R. Cook, Jordyn M. Cook, Hunter M. Cook, Jonah M. Butler; and three brothers and two sisters – Tom Zalesky, Gary Zalesky, John Zalesky, Shiela Thompson, and Patty Pearson.

The family will receive their relatives and friends on Friday November 3, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Allnutt Funeral Service - Hunter Chapel located at 2100 N. Lincoln Avenue, Loveland, CO 80538.

James will be laid to rest on Monday November 6, 2023 at 10:00 am at the Longmont Mountain View Cemetery, located at 620 11th Ave, Longmont, CO 80501.
