Loveland. He was born April 11, 1971 in Long Beach California, the son of Craig Anglin and
Rebecca King (Hood).
Dan left high school and joined the USMC, serving from 1988-1992 as an Armorer. He
went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude at the University of Arizona with a Bachelors in English
December 2006. Dan married the love of his life, Diana McCord on April 12, 1997. He was a
serial entrepreneur, eventually landing as the CEO of Cannamerica Brands. Daniel was a
Freemason and a lifetime member of the NRA. He was also a passionate music lover both
listening and playing and he loved to read, collecting as many books as he could, well, he
collected everything. Dan was an avid boater and for half the year practically lived on
Horsetooth Reservoir at the Inlet Bay Marina, enjoying the weather on his well loved boat the
High Life.
Daniel was brave in the face of adversity, strong willed, loving and devoted and swore
that his spirit animal was Godzilla, feared by the masses but just trying to keep everyone safe.
Dan is preceded in death by his mother and survived by his beloved wife of 25 years,
Diana Anglin, His oldest son Jagger Kortegast, youngest son Kyuss Anglin, daughter in law
Ashley Anglin, and many extended relatives.
A celebration of life for Daniel will be held in July. In lieu of flowers we ask that donations
be made to help Diana and the family recover from this event.
