Charlotte Evon Weickum

Charlotte married Larry L. Weickum on August 29, 1980 and they had four children. In 2007, Larry and Charlotte moved to Loveland, CO.

Larry remembers that he and Charlotte had some tough times, but their love for each other through the years kept their faith up and made the 45 years they were together seem like a week.

Charlotte was a very wonderful person. She always had a smile on her face that would brighten any moment, it was so infectious. She loved cooking and baking for her friends and family. She made the best cookies and cakes.

Charlotte is survived by her husband, Larry L. Weickum; sons, Cody (Heather) Weickum of Monument, Colorado and Mike (Jen) Weickum of Englewood, Colorado; daughter, Michelle (Weickum) (Jason) Anderson of Gothenburg, Nebraska; brothers, Mike Mayhew of Kansas and Stan Mayhew of Florida; sisters, Brenda (Earl) Davis of Kansas and Sherry (Floyd) Fazel of Texas; brothers and sisters-in-law, Edwin (Sandi) Weickum and Herb (Gwen) Weickum and three grandchildren, Brooke Weickum, Wyatt (Jaycee) Anderson and Kayla De Sersa. She also leaves behind her very dear and close friends, Lou and Gina Fabrizius. Charlotte and Gina became so close that they considered themselves sisters.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Tracy Weickum, who passed away November 23, 2023.

Honorary pallbearers include Lou Fabrizius, Bob Carolon, Bob Turner, Kevin McArthy, Wyatt Anderson, and Dr. Ben Martinez.

A private graveside service will be held at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, Denver, Colorado.
