Alice Marie Ohlsen

Alice Ohlsen, 89, formerly of Sioux Falls, SD, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2020 at Lemay Ave. Health & Rehab, Ft. Collins, CO. Alice Marie Ohlsen was born in Clark County, South Dakota the daughter of Harry and Elsie (Sasse) Whittle. She was raised and educated in Vienna, SD. On April 10, 1949 she married Earl K. Ohlsen, of Willow Lake, SD. The couple then made their home in Sioux Falls. Alice worked at Good Samaritan in Sioux Falls as a nursing assistant for over 30 years! Alice enjoyed reading, spending time with family, playing cards, and bingo. Alice will be missed by her daughters: Regina and Patricia (Ron) Dahl; grandchildren: Nicole (Deron) Brosh, Jody (Neal) Johnson, Brian Drew and Kieth Drew; great-grandchildren: Jackson and Julianna Brosh, Caleb Wold, Dylan Gulbrandson and Brady Drew; sister, Marlene ( Darrell) Nelson as well as several extended family members. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Earl of 55 years; son, Bruce Ohlsen; grandson, Michael Dahl; 3 brothers and 2 sisters and her little dog Aggi. Memorial services are pending for a future date to be held in Willow Lake, SD.
