Youlanda Christina "Tina" Johnson

Born in Grayson County, Kentucky on March 14, 1948, Tina was the daughter of John Paul Harris & Mayme Cox. She attended Spencerian College, graduating in 1974 with an Associate’s Degree in Administrative Accounting and Business Management. She worked for Humana for close to 20 years, where she was a Technical Specialist.

Tina is preceded in death by her parents, John Paul Harris and Mayme Cox – Kersey; her husband, Tewell “Rich” Johnson; daughters, Donna “Kathy” Bledsoe & Patricia Miller; granddaughters, Alexis Parsons & Paige Parsons; & sister, Brenda Colmore.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Mayme (Bryant) Meredith & Alicia (Brad) McGinnis; grandchildren, Brittany (Lamont) Starks, Kristina (Jimmy) Elliott, Zane McGinnis, Taeja Parsons, Devyn Meredith & Lyncoln Meredith; great – grandchildren, Hunter Elliott & Brayden Elliott; siblings, Paulette Gipson, Dannie (Sheila) Harris, Renee Mashburn, Paula (Jason) Coates & Tracey (Billy) Collins; her father’s widow, Ruby Harris; plus, a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 16, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Dignity Chapel of the Evergreen Funeral Home. Tina will be laid to rest in the Garden of Eternal Love of the Evergreen Cemetery & Garden Mausoleums. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2023 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. and then again on Monday, January 16, 2023 from 12:00 until the Funeral Hour of 2:00 p.m. also at the Evergreen Funeral Home.
