Willis R. Fraze, 73, of Louisville, passed away on the evening of January 3, 2013 at his home. He was retired from JCPS as a bus driver and a member of Melbourne Heights Baptist Church. He was a very outdoorsy guy who really enjoyed fishing. He was described as a gentle giant, a very sincere, caring, kind and gentle man, who absolutely adored his family and children.
He was preceded in death by is daughter Patricia Blanton; his twin sister, Phyllis Ellis and a brother, Donald Fraze.
Left cherishing his memory are his children, Tamara (John ) Clark, Joseph (Deborah) , Jeremy (April) Fraze and Lori (John) Pickett; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and a brother, Ronald (Zella) Fraze.
His Life Celebration Memorial Service will be held on Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with inurnment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Thursday from 3-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
