William Mack Tomlinson

Bill was born in Parkersburg, WV on December 1, 1946 the son of William E. and Margaret (Goodwin) Tomlinson. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Ann in 2005; and his granddaughter, Stephanie.

He graduated from Parkersburg High School with the class of 1964. He worked for Marbon Chemical, in Washington, WV. He later moved to Louisville, KY where he has resided for 40 years. He started his own company in Louisville known as Bill Tomlinson Painting Company, which he ran until his death.

Bill was a Christian man and was a member of Brookview Baptist Church. He was a caring and generous man and will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish his memory are his children; Michael Sandwisch, John Elder, and Susan Sandwisch Whittaker; daughter-in-law Erin Elder; siblings, Linda Sams, David (Sharon) Tomlinson, and Julia (Rod) Corra; and many loving grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Evergreen Funeral Home from 11:00am -2:00pm.

Memorial donations in William’s name can be made to Kentucky Humane Society.
