Billy graduated Shawnee High School (Class of’64). He worked as an iron worker, was a custom painter and a home investor. Billy was an avid lover of boating, maintaining his roots in the Portland neighborhood and active member, of 50 years, in the Greater Louisville A.A.
Billy is survived by his children, Bob Taylor and Jana (Joe) Bierman; grandchildren, Juliet Taylor, Jamie, Jessica, Jaxon, and Jadon Bierman; siblings, Jimmy (Valentina) Taylor, Marianne (Garry) Brown and Bob (Beth) Taylor.
He also leaves behind his special friend, Gayle Crow, whom the Taylor Family is appreciative of her enduring support.
Visitation for Billy is Monday, December 18, 2017 from 5 to 8 pm at Arch L Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road.
A Celebration of Billy’s life will be held at 3: 30 PM on Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at the funeral home.
