He was a retired crew leader for MSD.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Corriene Baumgardner .
Survivors include his wife, Brenda; sons, William, Jr. (Stacy) and Michael; father, James, Sr.; sisters, Cathy Ann Dennis and Michele McNutt (Tim); Brothers, James Smith, Jr. (Diane) and Robert Smith (Lisa); grandchildren, Ayla and Allie Smith; mother in law, Barbara Allen (Teddy) and his beloved dog, Precious.
His service will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the W. G. Hardy Funeral Home with burial in Bethany Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, 2-8 p.m. and Wednesday 12-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
